Jean Collymore
The majority of my experience is in traditional African Dance, in which I have learnt, grown and developed for over 15 years. My performance experiences include both large and small-scale theatre productions in Britain and abroad. delivering workshops and teaching in schools. Over the last few years my repertoire has increased through learning Caribbean folklore, ISTD Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz and Street Dance. Ultimately this has increased my adaptability to perform in different genres and broadened the range of my choreographic skills. Dance is a communicative art form and I have used it to deliver effective workshops and create a positive impact through teaching in schools. Currently I am a member of Expressions of the Heart Dance Ministry - a praise and worship performance group –
I have also qualified as a Fitness Instructor and Massage Therapist.
