Describe Place: Where does your story begin and how will bring this place to your reader’s imagination. Use your research and be expressive.

Then

Introduce your characters: They need to be alive and interesting.

Then

Think about your chosen proverb:  bring in the meat of your story. This is like a problem that the characters have to solve. Make sure you are using all your objects and pictures.

Then

Check your journey so far: is it interesting, would you enjoy this story if someone else had written it? Is it clear?

Then

Now head for your ending – make it memorable –an African Tale!
