Ocean Bell-Grey


Ocean Bell-Grey has been teaching dance since 2004 and is currently attending a 3yr Diploma in Musical Theatre at the Urdang Academy & already holds a National Diploma in Dance from Westminster Kingsway College. Ocean is presently teaching integrated dance workshops in Norway as part of their ‘Communication through Dance’ programme.

Ocean has been performing, (acting, dancing, choreographing), since 2000. He began taking classes in Drama, Ballet, Contemporary Dance & Street Dance in 1995 at the weekend Arts College. He then attended the Barbara Speake Stage School for a year, achieving a blue ribbon in Freestyle Solo and several television jobs. In 2004 Ocean attained a GCSE in Contemporary Dance with the North London Performing Arts School. During the same year Ocean also created, choreographed & produced a 2hr youth talent show & dance performance to raise funds for Childline.
He also began teaching at Kori Cultural Arts Project, In 2005 Ocean was asked to be choreographer & back up dancer for Bristol based RnB/Jazz singer ‘Celestine’. He also began working with ‘Union too’, and ‘Candoco’ Dance Company’s - performing in ‘The Place’, ‘Saddlers Wells’ and the ‘Institute of Contemporary arts’.

Ocean is passionate about dance and expressive arts in general. He is committed to integrated arts and creative fusion and has extensive experience in teaching dance to people of all ages and abilities.
