POSITIVE LIFE

In January 2007 the Senior members began a new project called Positive Life – It started with eleven weeks of lyrical development working firstly with El Crisis and then with shortMAN both renowned, conscious performance Poets.

Crisis’s approach was to perform a dramatic piece on the ability of gun crime to destroy life and impact negatively on all those around them. This work was used as a catalyst for poetry. Each young person took different angles in their work, sister, mother, friends. Resulting in the writing poems that are haunting and powerful.
